The Journey

About Francine Deparnay

Founder, Wild-Woman Yoga + Wellness

If you know me, you know — I'm bold, intuitive, outspoken, and unafraid to say the things most people keep quiet. I’m not the whisper-soft yoga teacher archetype. I’m real. I’m raw. I’m loud. And I’m deeply committed to the kind of healing that moves through the body, the nervous system, the intuition, and the lived story you carry.

My work lives where embodiment, trauma recovery, feminine power, and personal truth weave together. I’ve walked through chronic pain, trauma, hormonal chaos, surgery, spiritual unraveling, and the long returning to my own body. Healing wasn’t a single moment — it’s been a lifetime of learning my own inner language: the tug, the ache, the shutting down, the re-opening.

I’ve learned from traditional yoga lineages, from my own nervous system, from my body’s wisdom, Ayuervedic healers in India, Mayan curanderos in Mexico, and from Quechua shamans in Peru who helped me understand energetic truth in a way no textbook ever could. An ancient remembering in my souls depths.

And here’s what I know:
I am still healing.
I will be "doing the work" until the day I die.
And that doesn’t make me less of a guide — it makes me human.

Through Wild Woman Yoga + Wellness, I teach practices that help people come home to themselves — yoga flow, meditation, breathwork, intuitive movement, and the kind of stillness that reveals truths your mind doesn’t want to hear but your body already knows.

I’m not here to impress you with lineage or perfection.
I’m here to meet you exactly where you are — unraveling, rising, messy, powerful, soft, fiery, or in-between.

If you’re craving a space where the healing is honest, the embodiment is real, and you’re allowed to be in-process… you’re in the right place.
